My long time Beavercreek neighbor David Alan Hellickson graduated to the next dimension on the 5th of October 2019 after a lengthy illness. In 1981 he graduated from Beavercreek High School and Green County Career Center. David’s dad Chuck passed a few years earlier. His mother Louise, brother Bruce, sister Norma, his 2 sons Jacob and Bryan and his grandsons Tyler and Axel survive him.

David spent 12 years in the US Army. He made Sergeant and was assigned to the Tank Command. David won several awards for his tank maintenance on the A1M1 Abrams tanks and his leadership skills.

David was a top-notch automotive technician and loved his NASCAR but was most proud of confessing his faith. His confirmation verse was: “For you were brought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:20
