(1963-2007) Karen passed on June 4, 2007 after a 1½ year battle with breast cancer. She worked for United Way in Dayton. She was an honorary member of the Eintracht Singing Society, and she also volunteered for Dayton Liederkranz-Turner. A memorial Scholarship in Finance at her alma mater (John Carroll University) carries on her memory.

I'm glad to have had a chance to see Karen again several years ago for the first time since so long ago during our days in school. I wish now to have visited longer. But I'm very thankful to have spent our youth together along with Jone, at one house or another, when our days were simple. Karen was a solid person and friend and a positive memory I'll have forever.

I was with Karen the last year of her life and I'm very grateful that I got to see her. She was never sad or down. An amazing person. We laughed and joked about school days the stupid things we used to do. Karen came over to my house every morning and then it was off to pick up Sandy. We'd all walk to school together. Seems like only yesterday....Miss you Karen...
